Theresa Burke

With a spirit as vibrant as a Colorado sunrise and a sense of humor as dry as the Grand Canyon, Theresa Marie Burke, affectionately known as "Jack", packed an adventurous life into her 24 years. Born June 19, 1999, in Denver, Colorado, she became known far and wide for her larger-than-life personality, charisma, and infectious laughter. As the great Mark Twain once said, "The secret of getting ahead is getting started," and our Jack was always one step ahead, living life on her own terms.

Theresa was a woman of many talents and ambitions. Not many can say they scaled mountains, reeled in fish, sketched landscapes, and wired houses, but Theresa wasn't just anyone. As an electrician in the construction industry, she lit up more than homes; she sparked joy in everyone she met. Her passion for life was only rivaled by her love for her family, her dogs, and her unyielding desire to experience the world. She was the kind of person who knew all your secrets but also knew exactly when to crack the perfect joke to make you forget about them.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, survived by her father Matthew, mother Jennifer, sisters Liz, Kris, and a close-knit family of brothers, Jon, Seumas, and Ronan, as well as her beloved nephew, Levi. In the words of her sister, "The thing about Jack is even if you wanted to hate her, you couldn’t. Who knew such a small person could leave such a big impact on your life?" Indeed, Theresa's impact was as powerful as her sense of adventure was insatiable. As the indomitable Maya Angelou said, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel," and Jack, you made us feel loved, adventurous, and endlessly amused.
