Aurora, Colorado
Ronald Marc Talpers unexpectedly passed on March 28, 2026. He was born on August 12, 1948 in Denver, Colorado, was a man of many admirable qualities. His charisma drew people to him, while his compassion for others was evident in the way he treated everyone he encountered. Ronald was known to be courageous, facing life's challenges head on with a sense of humor that could light up any room. As Mark Twain once said, "The secret of getting ahead is getting started." Ronald embodied this spirit, making a name for himself in the real estate business, where he excelled for over 50 years.
Ronald lived his life with enthusiasm and vigor. He was not just a successful realtor, but a man who found joy in the simple things. He enjoyed golfing, and was an avid fan of his local teams, the Broncos, Avs, and Nuggets. His beloved Dachshund, Slinky, was his constant companion and source of joy. Despite periods of poor health, Ronald never let it dampen his spirit. Instead, he found strength in enjoying what life had to offer, making each day count, and spreading laughter wherever he went.
Ronald, a lifelong resident of Denver and Aurora, Colorado, was never married, but was deeply loved by his family and friends. He is survived by his family members, Gary Talpers (Nancy), and nieces Rachel and Becca (Colt). Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Robert Talpers, and mother, Henrietta Talpers. His life was a testament to the power of positivity and the impact of kindness. He was a special person who will be deeply missed by many but especially his close friends David Edwards (Melissa), Francis McGrath, and Al Munekata (Mary), and his girlfriend Maggie Cook.
