Phyllis Sheets

–

Federal Heights, Colorado

Phyllis Regina Sheets, née Brewer, passed away on June 1, 2026, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, at the age of 72.

Born on January 25, 1954, Phyllis was the beloved daughter of William E. Brewer, Sr. and Gertrude Marie Brewer, née Beaker, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Sheets, whom she married on September 16, 2006.

Phyllis is survived by her children, Benjamin Robinson, Randolph Robinson, Jeremiah Robinson, and Anna Brown; her beloved grandchildren, Jeremiah, Savannah, Cianna, Malaysia, Ellie, Christopher, Anthony, Justice, Trea, Emma, Jackson, Javelin, William, and Oliviana; and her siblings, Bill Brewer, Carl Brewer, Barbara Kelly, Phill Brewer, Susie Morales, and Tom Brewer. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Phyllis and Jack shared many adventures and happy memories together. Before Jack's passing, they enjoyed traveling and snowmobiling, embracing opportunities to explore and enjoy life.

Phyllis approached the world with a fiercely independent spirit and a determination that was unmistakably her own. Strong-willed and unwavering in her convictions, she marched to the beat of her own drum and lived life on her own terms. Those who knew and loved her understood that her stubbornness was simply part of what made her uniquely Phyllis.

Above all, Phyllis loved her family, especially her grandchildren. One of her greatest joys was hosting “Grandma Days” each summer when they were young. These special days created lasting memories filled with laughter, adventure, and love—memories her grandchildren will carry with them throughout their lives.

In 2024, Phyllis was diagnosed with Stage IV breast cancer. True to her independent nature, she made her own decisions regarding her treatment and care. Following an accident in April 2026, she was recovering in a rehabilitation facility when her condition declined. She ultimately succumbed to complications from cancer on June 1, 2026.

Though she is no longer with us, the memories she created, the lessons she taught, and the love she shared will remain in the hearts of those who knew her. Her family finds comfort in knowing that her legacy lives on through the generations she loved so deeply.

She lived life her way until the very end, and those who loved her would expect nothing less.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
