Mehmet Kose

In the loving memory of Mehmet Kose, born on April 23, 1945, in Istanbul, Turkey, and most recently of Aurora, Colorado, who departed this world on August 1, 2026. Mehmet, fondly known as "Met" by his loved ones, was a loving and loyal husband, a reliable friend, and an incredibly smart individual.

Mehmet spent his years building a prestigious career as a cosmetologist, retiring from Great Clips in Highlands Ranch, CO, in 2010. He was a loyal fan of soccer and American football, often spending his free time enjoying the games. Mehmet was a man of faith, practicing Turkish Islam, and the verse from the Quran, "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return" (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:156), encapsulates his belief in the cycle of life and death. His years in Englewood, CO, Istanbul, and Ankara, Turkey, were marked by his steadfast commitment to his family, his work, and his faith. His son, Cevat, was his world, and his love for his son was reciprocated with the same intensity.

Mehmet is survived by his son, Cevat Kose. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cevat Koseoglu and Fatama Koseoglu.
