Elizabeth Trevino

–

Thornton, Colorado

With a heart full of love and compassion, Elizabeth Trevino, known affectionately as "Liz", was called home on June 11, 2024. Born in Greeley, CO, on May 13, 1956, she spent her 68 years embracing her roles as a dedicated wife, a loving mother, a doting grandmother, a funny sister, and a true friend to many. Her laughter and her love for life were infectious, and she leaves behind a legacy of joy and kindness that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Elizabeth was a beacon of strength and resilience. She was a dedicated mover in the logistics industry, and she and her beloved husband, Gilbert Trevino, traveled the country as they pursued their profession. Her dedication to her work was only surpassed by her love for her family. She was a loving wife, a nurturing mother, and a cherished grandmother, her love for her family was endless and abundant. Her home in Thornton, Colorado, was a haven of warmth and laughter, filled with cherished memories of family gatherings, lively stories, and shared joys. Elizabeth's siblings Jaime, Silvia, Rosela, Sandra, Elva, Joel, Gerard and Lorena will remember her as their wonderful funny and caring sister who always had a compassionate word to share.

As a devout Christian, Elizabeth's love for God was as deep as her love for her family. She was baptized at an early age, dedicating her life to the Lord and continuously spreading His word to others. Elizabeth lived her faith every day, her actions reflecting the verse from Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." She was a testament to this verse, always willing to give, always ready to assist those in need, and always encouraging her family to follow His will.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her father Gilberto Cardona Sr., her mother Macrina Cardona, and her siblings Gilbert Jr., Maria Murillo, Arturo Cardona and Margarita Cardona. The love and memories shared with Elizabeth will forever be cherished by her husband Gilbert Trevino, her siblings, and all who knew her or had the opportunity to be a recipient of her generosity.

We invite all who wish to, to visit Elizabeth's memorial page, where you can share your fond memories, photographs, and stories of the wonderful times spent with her.
