Edward Lundstrom Jr.

–

Thornton, Colorado

Edward Daniel Lundstrom Jr., affectionately known as Eddy, was born on July 10, 1984, in Vermillion, South Dakota. As the sun set on August 26, 2024, our world became a little dimmer as we said goodbye to this remarkable man. An individual whose life was characterized by his humble nature, dedicated service, compassionate spirit, and an unwavering love for his family, Edward was a beacon of light for all who knew him.

Edward held many roles throughout his life, each of which he embraced wholeheartedly. He served his country as an army veteran, a feat that underscored his commitment to the freedom we all hold dear. After his service, Edward became a certified HVAC technician, a testament to his industrious nature and his dedication to his craft. Despite his achievements, Edward was a humble man, never seeking recognition but always ready to lend a hand. In his words, "Success is not measured in the accolades we receive, but in the lives we touch."

In his downtime, Edward found solace in the great outdoors, be it fishing, camping, or simply appreciating nature’s beauty. He had a fondness for card collecting, building Legos, and indulging in his love for history. He thoroughly enjoyed watching sports with his son (not a Monday or Friday would pass without him watching wrestling with his family, it was tradition )and attended concerts and sporting events whenever he could. His life was enriched by the time he spent in various places, including Rapid City, South Dakota; 29 Palms, California; Stafford, Virginia; Camp Lejeune, North Carolina; and Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. However, for the past decade, he made his home in Thornton, Colorado.

Edward's life was a testament to his love for his family, especially his son, Liam. His wife, Carrie Little Crow, was his love and rock, their union a beautiful testament to their shared devotion since 2010. He was the adored son of Doyla Lundstrom. There is nothing on this earth that Doyla would not do for her sons Brett and Eddy, she loved them more than life itself. She remained a devoted and loving mother up until his last days. Edward was predeceased by his father, Edward Sr. and his brother, Brett Lundstrom whom he loved and missed every day of his life. Their memories held a special place in his heart and continue to inspire those who knew them. Eddy is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews from South Dakota on his maternal side and Colorado from his paternal side.

In the words of Helen Keller, "What we have once enjoyed deeply we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us." Edward Lundstrom Jr.'s legacy will forever echo in our hearts and minds. His life was a testament to the values he held dear: humility, dedication, love, and compassion. As we remember Edward, let us celebrate his life and the joy he brought into ours.

We encourage friends and family to share their memories and upload photos of Edward to the memorial page. Please send expressions of sympathy to his family at 10260 Washington St #128 Thornton, CO, 80229. Your stories and images will help keep his memory alive for generations to come
