Antione Spencer Obituary (1984

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Antione Calvin Spencer, also affectionately known as Twon, born on June 2, 1984, in Junction City, KS, USA. As his sister, Cassandra, I write on behalf of our family, remembering Antione for his ambitious spirit, his dedicated work ethic, and his humble, compassionate heart. Antione was a beacon of hope in our family and community. His primary occupation was day labor, often involving moving and construction work. However, his true passion lay in offering a helping hand to anyone in need. Among his hobbies were basketball, working out, and engaging in long, heartfelt conversations with our mother, Debbie, and me. Antione also had a special place in his heart for politics, a topic that often sparked engaging discussions during our family gatherings. A dedicated Christian, Antione was an active volunteer at the Denver Dream Center, selflessly giving his time and energy as a Hope Dealer. He embodied the Christian scripture, "And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up." (Galatians 6:9). Despite the personal barriers and challenges he faced, Antione never lost sight of what mattered most to him - ensuring the happiness and wellbeing of those around him. Antione is survived by his mother, Debbie Lewis; his father, Calvin Spencer; his grandmother, Alice Spencer; his sisters, Cassandra Carpenter, Sherikaa Mills, and Stephanie Mills; and his brother, Maurice Malone. Each of us will remember Antione as a dedicated, humble, and compassionate soul who spread love and hope wherever he went. He was, and always will be, our family's cornerstone.
