AnnaBell Stadler Obituary (1926 - 2025)

AnnaBell (Isaacs Bachmann) Stadler, our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and sister, passed peacefully on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, joining her loved ones in Heaven. Born in Tampa, Florida on May 22, 1926, to Roger and Olive Isaacs, AnnaBell lived a long, rich life just five months shy of her goal of reaching 100 birthdays. Annabell graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in Wisconsin in 1944 and began her working life as a café soda server and a detail paint artist at a chair company. In 1945 she married Peter Bachmann and embraced life in the country as a devoted farm wife. Together they raised five sons and one daughter. Her days were full and joyful—supporting school activities, volunteering, serving as a Cub Scout den mother, participating in church life and fellowships, and opening her home to two AFS exchange students. After her divorce, AnnaBell moved to the Denver area in 1976, where she continued to live with purpose and creativity. She worked as a temp, volunteered for Hospice and Meals on Wheels, took local art classes, and happily filled the role of an involved and loving grandmother. During this time she met and married Frank Stadler, and they made their home in Westminster, Colorado. After Frank’s passing in 1987, AnnaBell remained active through her women’s club, art classes, travel, cherished friendships, and her ever-growing family. In 2007 she found companionship again with her “sweetheart,” Gale Day, with whom she shared many happy years until his passing in 2019. It is difficult to fully capture the number of lives AnnaBell touched over her remarkable century on this earth. Her gifts as a painter, homemaker, and artist live on through her many creations, writings, and the skills she lovingly passed down through four generations. She taught by example—how to be strong, hardworking, kind, generous, hospitable, creative, and deeply devoted to family. Above all, she taught the art of nurturing and loving fully. Her light, warmth, and gentle strength will be profoundly missed by all who were blessed to know her. AnnaBell is survived by her sister Janet (Lou) Reda; sons Jarry (Cheryl Preisser) Bachmann and Jim Bachmann; daughter Pat (Doug) Livingstone; daughters-in-law Lisa Bachmann and Rosanne Bachmann; step-sons Dan (Sue) Stadler and Mike (Shannon) Stadler; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Richard Isaacs; her beloved partners Peter Bachmann, Frank Stadler, and Gale Day; sons Gene Bachmann, Jack Bachmann, and Jeff Bachmann; sons-in-law Chris Stadler and Frank Stadler Jr.; granddaughters Lauren Livingstone and Megan Stadler; and great-granddaughter Violet Duncan.
